“Can’t remember” is a videocollage that illustrates a dream I had two years ago. A story about inconvenienced neighbours is intertwined with everyday instagram stories and recordings of night walks. The inaudible voice-over sounds as if someone was sleeptalking.

Jakub Kostewicz is a Polish queer intermedia artist, currently studying animated film at University of The Arts in Poznan. His works are often intentionally unfinished, spontaneously made in the span of one day, and reuse media he has already created beforehand. These remixes orbit around ideas such as recapturing dreams, mental landscapes and inner queerness.
