Deduce from Genjipai

An egg detective infers a murder case. A Japanese pastry, Genji Pie, is found at the murder scene. The suspect, an apple, denies the detective’s inference. The dialogues in this film is in a fictional language and is not intended to be understood.

Yuzuki Tachibana (JP)
Born in 2000 in Japan. In 2022, Screenings at “TCA’s Open Screen”, The Taos Center for the Arts, USA, “12th West Virginia Mountaineer Short Film Festival”, USA and “312 Dori”, Lumen Gallery, Kyoto. Her film “Deduce from Genjipai” has been validated in Short Film Corner in 75th Cannes Film Festival in 2022. She studies film making at Seian University of Art and Design in Otsu, Japan.
