Endlanders

Inspired by lots of different media and artforms, Endlanders is an indie-game that primarily focuses on the main characters’ quest to understand and explore the universe they live in. Borrowing themes from across multiple genres, including mythologies, sci-fi and nature, the game’s aesthetics blend anachronistically all those elements to create new and alien landscapes with interesting characters. The game’s themes vary from angels wielding automatic rifles, to shamans that are experiencing an industrial revolution, to colorful worlds being attacked by a gray-color plague. The game features a fast-paced combat style with deck-building elements, a translating system that progresses the game forward, a log that has entries where the characters write their thoughts, and various other RPG mechanics well known to indie-game players.

Eteros Studios (GR)
Eteros Studios was founded in 2021 by Nikolaos Arampatzoglou. While it began as a solo-project, the studio expanded adding to its roster Giwrgos Vardakis (SFX/Soundtrack), Orfeas Vantarakis(Concept Artist) and Giovanni Souza(Pixel Artist). Other people have cycled through the game’s development, giving their input and their expertise, helping to shape the studio’s first project, Endlanders. Working mostly as a co-operative studio rather than a typical hierarchical one, decisions are made either unanimously , or are left to a specific branch of the game to be made autonomously. This autonomy allows the studio to work at different schedules, breaking away from the typical 9-5 job most people are used to, and our approach to taking certain decisions with convergence allows us to feel satisfied with our work without feeling restricted or frustrated by bureaucratic vectors.
